Vendors
Vendors are brands or other entities that can promote products in campaigns. The term “vendor” can represent multiple actors - be it an agency, a brand, a seller or anyone willing to spend money on promotions.
These campaigns are either managed by the vendor directly or by the marketplace for them.
Vendors and products
Products in a catalog always belong to one or more vendors. A vendor can only promote products that belong to it.
Consider the example below.
Here both vendors can promote SKU-790
in their campaigns. Whereas SKU-789
can only be promoted by VENDOR-1
and SKU-791
can only be promoted by VENDOR-2
.
