What is Tomi?

Tomi is an AI agent built for retail media. You don’t have to be a Topsort customer to try it. Upload CSV or PDF files or paste data directly into the chat, then ask questions about your media plans and campaign performance. See Tomi Agent for an overview of Tomi. The campaign management features described there require access to Topsort.

What are the benefits?

  • Improve media plans: Get feedback on budget allocation, targeting, campaign timing, and ad formats before launch.
  • Understand performance: Investigate underperforming campaigns, compare results, and identify opportunities to improve.
  • Save time on reporting: Turn your data into clear summaries for internal reviews and client updates.
  • Get retail media guidance: Ask questions about campaign strategy, measurement, and optimization.
For example, share a media plan and ask for ideas to improve it. Or provide campaign metadata, such as dates and targeting, alongside performance data for the same campaigns and period, and ask Tomi for recommendations.

Who is it for?

Anyone managing retail media campaigns, whether they work in marketplace ad operations or for a brand.

How do I get started?

Go to tomi.topsort.com and sign up for an account. Upload CSV or PDF files or copy and paste your data into the chat, then ask Tomi what you want to review or improve.

Giving Tomi context

You can connect your ad server directly to Tomi through our connectors. Any ad server can be connected, though platforms without an existing connector may require a new connector to be built. If you are not ready to connect, you can provide the context yourself by exporting data from your ad server and copying and pasting it into the chat, uploading CSV or PDF files, or connecting your data warehouse through our Snowflake connector. Campaign details and campaign performance are the most important data to provide. Inventory data provides additional context for Tomi’s recommendations. The table below shows examples of what retail media ad servers call these types of data. Use matching IDs across datasets so Tomi can connect campaign settings with their results. You can share the data using your ad server’s terminology.
