Managed vs. Self-Service - Which to go with?

It depends on your vendor’s interest in managing campaigns themselves.

If you already have existing relationships with the brands and the vendors on your platform, especially if today they do buy promotional packages from you - we would recommend managed services as a transition. In that case, the vendors would discuss an advertising budget with marketplaces and marketplace admins can manage campaigns and provide reporting periodically.

Self-service comes with a few options:

Most of Topsort's customers use both modes when advertising, or start with managed service and then give vendors the option to try advertising themselves with our self-service tools. It depends on your strategy and resources to maintain either model.
